I've been using this as my daily work bag for a couple weeks and the mesh back padding actually keeps my shirt from getting sweaty on the walk to the train. The side pockets fit my water bottle snugly, which my old bag never managed. Straps adjust easily too, no slipping mid-commute.
Took this on a weekend trip and the 18" x 6" x 11.5" size fit perfectly under the seat while still holding my laptop and a change of clothes. The nylon zippers with metal hardware feel way sturdier than the plastic ones on my old bag.
The mesh back padding actually makes a difference on my commute, no more sweaty shirt by the time I get to the office. The front pocket fits my keys and phone perfectly, and the straps adjust smoothly without slipping.
