The side pockets actually fit my 32oz water bottle, which never happens with backpacks this slim. And the mesh back padding kept my shirt from getting soaked on a 20-minute walk in July heat.
Didn't expect the velour sunglass compartment to actually be useful, but my lenses have stayed scratch-free through two weeks of daily commuting. The mesh back padding is a nice touch too, way less sweaty than my old bag. Fits my 15" laptop and a water bottle with room to spare.
