I've been using this as my daily commuter bag and the velour sunglass compartment is such a smart touch, no more scratches on my lenses. The ergonomic mesh back padding actually keeps my shirt from getting soaked on the walk to the train, which I didn't expect to notice so much.
Took this on a weekender trip and the separate velour sunglass compartment saved my lenses from getting scratched in the bottom of my bag. The side pockets actually fit a full water bottle, which my old pack never managed.
