Didn't think I'd care about a sunglass compartment but the velour one actually keeps my lenses scratch-free, which is huge since I toss this bag in the car daily. The side pockets fit a water bottle snugly and the 18" height still slides under my seat on flights.
I was worried the crystal embellishment would look tacky in person but it actually catches the light nicely without being over the top. The separate sunglasses pocket keeps my lenses from getting scratched, and the ergonomic straps made a full day of walking around town comfortable.
The velour sunglass compartment is such a smart touch, my shades come out without a single scratch. It fits my laptop and gym stuff for a 18" bag without feeling bulky, and the side pockets actually hold a water bottle.
