The front zipper pocket is perfect for quick access to my keys and phone without having to dig through the main compartment. The separate stash pocket on the back makes me feel way more secure about my wallet when I'm crammed on the subway.
The front zipper pocket is deep enough to swallow my keys, charger, and a paperback without bulging, which I wasn’t expecting from a backpack this compact. The bat emblem on the side panel is stitched on tight, not glued like some others I’ve had, and the whole bag feels sturdy on my commute.
The side pockets actually fit my water bottle snugly, which is a relief since most backpacks fumble that. The Batman emblem pops nicely against the black, and the 18-inch height holds my laptop and a few books without feeling bulky. Solid zippers all around, front pocket included.
