The metal enamel buckles on the top flap feel way sturdier than the plastic ones on my old bag, and the drawstring keeps everything snug when I'm biking to class. At 18 x 6 x 11.5 it slides under the seat without me wrestling it.
Those two side cargo pockets with the metal buckles are way more useful than I expected — I fit a water bottle in one and my keys and wallet in the other. The flap stays shut even when the bag's stuffed, which was my main worry before buying.
