The matte gold hardware on this bag is such a nice touch, it makes the faux leather look way more expensive than it actually is. Fits my 15" laptop plus a change of clothes in the main compartment, and the side pockets actually hold a water bottle without stretching out.
I was worried faux leather would look cheap but the matte gold hardware actually makes it look way nicer than the price suggests. The front zipper pocket holds my keys and phone so I'm not digging around, and the 18 x 11.5 size fits my laptop plus a change of clothes for overnight trips.
The side pockets are perfect for slipping my phone and keys into without having to unzip anything, and the faux leather feels surprisingly sturdy for daily commutes. I've loaded it up with a laptop and groceries, and the 18-inch frame holds its shape without sagging.
